Though weve had a few refunds to make because of the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano we also had people who could arrive for their Oman Holidays and fortunately leave on schedule afterwards.

For one we travelled during the latter part of April through the Omans desert and mountains. April is of course when Oman ‘hots up’ but its also when the Roses bloom making for great scenery and unexpected subjects.

Arabian Camels in Oman

Our guests here on their Oman Holidays and Camels, though dwarfed by the sand dune they needed to ascend, eventually made their way to the top and , importantly, back down.

Here in Oman Camels are not confined to Oman’s  sand deserts – and a souvenir photo makes a good reminder of the many different places they are found .

40th National Day in Oman 2010

is being prepared for in Salalah

Though it’s a few months away the preparations for Oman 40th National Day on 18th November 2010 are under way.

Here, in Salalah, new street lighting is being put up – the main road to Thumrait &  Muscat has been done up to the foothills and it looks as though all arterial routes in town will soon have their own striking light system.
