On a humid morning on Muttrah’s Corniche it was nice to join other guests for the inauguration of Art Exhibition by Dr Mona Al Baiti by the Under Secretary of Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Culture
Sheikh Hamed Bin Hilal Bin Ali Al Mamary of an art exhibition by Dr Mona Al Baiti in Bait al Baranda.
Dr Mona Al Baiti’s theme is ‘Migration Towards Utopia”. The art features collages forming giant multi-part panels and I thought their appearance resembles European Stained Glass, with intense colour and form. The paintings are on display until the 20th June.
