Fuel subsidies in Oman being looked at-could petrol prices rise in Oman

Darwish bin Ismaeel al Balushi, Oman’s Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs appears to be looking at the cost of the fuel subsidy in Oman which is Omani Rial 1.3 billion per year (= Rial Omani 433 per person) .

Penny’s Cafe in Sohar was a great venue for our book signing. We arrived after a drive from Muscat and enjoyed not only Penny’s fantastic cakes – but afterwards a dinner in the Butterfly Hotel near the beach.

Printing my new book on Oman for its mid February launch

It was kind of the printing press where my new book is being worked on to let me see the first page go into the machine as a white page, and a few moments later appear at the other end of the machine in full colour.
