Flying down to Salalah after visiting northern Oman our group from Steppes Travel have been visiting some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Oman.

After a great overnight in the Wihibah Sands desert on this Oman guided tour, my small group travelled north towards Nizwa (see the earlier days on this Oman Small Group Tour). Our first stop was to see how local women are continuing the traditional craft of Camel Bone Carving.
