With the nice weather it was great to be able to make a very early start and attend Camel Races on the open plain in Oman.

After a great overnight in the Wihibah Sands desert on this Oman guided tour, my small group travelled north towards Nizwa (see the earlier days on this Oman Small Group Tour). Our first stop was to see how local women are continuing the traditional craft of Camel Bone Carving.
