Tonny Holsbergen’s exhibition of her paintings was held in Muscat, helping publicise her book ‘Faces of Oman’.

The Dutch ambassador supported the art exhibition,

which was opened by Mohammed Zubair at Bait Al Zubair.

Tonny visited Oman in 2001 and again in 2002 and travelled extensively in the interior and through the deserts.

This helped her to portray the charming and colourful people of Oman in many of her works which she finished creating in her studio in Amsterdam.
Tonny’s superb pastels, drawings and oil paintings are unfortunately beyond my pocket, but they really do have the aura of Oman.
