Vogue seems to have so many International Editions that they need a dedicated International Editor.
Suzy Menkes, ‘fashion’s leading authority‘, fills that role and the Chinese Edition of Vogue covers a visit she has made into Muscat in preparation for Condé Nast International Luxury Conference that will be held in Muscat 4th-6th April 2017. The conference will explore how “new wealth and untapped markets are the next great source of growth for the luxury industry in the 21st Century” under the slogan “Mindful Luxury” . Speakers will include David Crickmore CEO of Oman’s luxury fragrance Amouage; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi Secretary General of Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Pierre Denis CEO of Jimmy Choo. The Shangri-la in Muscat will be the venue and doubtless Suzy will stay at Al Husn once again.
