The offer for me to fill the vacant Presidential seat at the London Book Fair 2018 got turned down,
though I guess the new book by Bill Clinton and James Patterson ‘The President is Missing’ will shed light on why the vacancy happened.
The desk filled space at the very busy London Book Fair which was packed with so many major and minor companies in the printing and book businesses.
I listened to a couple of talks hosted by Ingram Spark and Kindle Direct Publishing ; one with authors Joseph Alexander, Mark Dawson and L J Ross about how to use Kindle for publishing, which each of them have done successfully.
The second introduced by Orna Ross of the Alliance of Independent Authors with Zsofia Macho & Janet Murray on what they referred to as ‘self-publishing 3.0’ which is a focus on dealing and trading directly with the consumers of your publications and entrepreneurship.
