I’m delighted to be authoring Oman Guide Book for Bradt 4th edition.
The original by Diana Darke, who had written an other Oman Travel Guide, and Sandra Shields a travel writer was published in 2006 – so I guess my updated version will sort of be the 10th anniversary. This will be a really steep learning curve for me – as there is so much information to include.
In effect, it will be a full rewrite to bring it up to date. There will, I hope, be new locations that upgraded road networks allow access to. The mapping will also be redone – I will do it in Photoshop to assist Bradt’s cartographer with clarity. Hopefully Bradt will also use my own photos as they will allow a more specific image selection.
