Sultan Qaboos has arrived into Iran on the first visit to Iran by a foreign leader since President Hassan Rouhani took office.
Sultan Qaboos has visited Iran before, part of Oman’s increasingly good relations with Iran. It is reasonable to assume that as Sultan Qaboos has excellent relations with both Iran and the USA that some contact between Iran and the USA will result. Perhaps Oman will host the two countries in discussions.
