This is the original, and still the best, Japanese restaurant in Oman. Located on the Al Falaj Hotel’s 8th floor its a really easy to get to location. I had hoped to get their ‘traditional’ table, but no such luck so we had a standard table and a great meal.
We had ‘Yakiniku’ which is sliced beef with rice and salad and Taro Special Tippan Yaki, a mix of prawn, chicken and fish. The food was excellent with tender beef and tasty chicken. I persevered with the chopsticks and decided they would be a great help in a diet.
Pudding was fried ice cream, more-like ice cream in custard, but still nice as ice cream always is. As usual the service was good and quick and helped make the evening very good.
