With part of our group from The Traveller it was good to visit Salalah,
While in Salalah we came across several Bee Hives in the Mountains.
The bees must have been collecting from Pink Flowers as they had Pink Pollen Sacs.
We took a few days to visit Salalah to escape Muscat’s still sizzling 40c+ temperature for some صلالة تائيم (Salalah Time)

What a nice start to the New Year in Oman – snow on the mountains a few days ago and dazzingly clear skys in Muscat.
Of course its going to be a year full of the unexpected, but a certainty is that there will be but lots of 1’s – as here on 1/1/11 .

With cooler, sunny weather it was nice to walk with guests through the mountains near Salalah in southern Oman.

Today is a once in a lifetime day 10/10/10 .
Remarkably here are 10 eagles in Salalah Oman – resting after a long migration from the north .
